Holiday greetings, friends! If you've been reading some of my earlier hollerings, you may know that Jen and I launched the Written Out Loud Storytelling School this past fall. It's been an amazing, inspiring success.

Two classfuls of kids - middle-schoolers and high-schoolers - have been learning the fundamentals of storytelling, week after week, and creating original stories of their own. Next Wednesday evening, December 12th at 7pm, these inspired and inspiring youngsters are going to stand in front of a microphone and tell their stories out loud to an audience that OH YES, THAT'S RIGHT, COULD VERY WELL INCLUDE YOU.

We'll be gathering at the B-Hive in Bridgeport, a perfect/cozy little space where we've been holding class every week. It's on 285 Fairfield Ave: there's a parking garage right across the street.

Between the storytellers, the show will also feature a few exceptionally-talented local musicians: Fairfield kids who absolutely crush it on guitar, violin, vocals, and drums. All told, the entire show should last about 90 minutes. It will be a great night for families and kids of all ages, and the cover charge is zero. We'd love to see you.

BTW we are officially and definitely continuing the Storytelling School in 2019 - including the launch of our first-ever adult class. No, Jim Guzzi, this isn't an adult-film study class. It's a class for those of you grown folk who still, even in your ripe old age, have an unwritten screenplay burning a hole inside you - or a novel, or TV series, or even an album.

We'll also be continuing and expanding the kids' programs, and launching new chapters in a new town or two. (Feel free to sign up here if you're potentially interested, or think that your child might be interested: signup is free.) More details on next year's programs after our big show.

Thanks all! Would love to see you next week if you can make it.

Josh & Jen
